Meghan and Josh are getting married at one of the most beautiful desert venues in Arizona. They are getting married this October at the Paseo in Apache Junction. So when they planned for engagement photos they knew they wanted to stick with the desert theme. They had beautiful Sonoran Desert engagement photos done with us! When we first scheduled their session, we had to keep an eye on the weather because it was on and off again rain the whole week coming up to their shoot. On the morning of their session, it poured! Then finally stopped raining in time for their session but the desert would have been a muddy mess.

Meghan and Josh are the sweetest couple. They were naturals in front of the camera and as you can tell, they were also so much fun to shoot. Having desert engagement photos means that we would be getting lots of beautiful landscapes. The Sonoran Desert lets us have beautiful mountain backdrops filled with cacti. The type of cacti found at the Sonoran Desert are the jumping chollas. Let’s just say from experience, it’s not fun stepping on one of them. So we always warn our couples to be very careful when shooting here.
