Erin and Steve had beautiful Sedona portraits done with us. They had their small wedding ceremony with just family back in June and didn’t do an engagement session beforehand. It was funny because Erin told us she didn’t know what to call this in-between session that she had because it was kind-of like an engagement session but they were no longer engaged. So we called it their first portrait session as a married couple! Their wedding celebrating with friends will be at the end of this year.
Erin was telling us that when planning a wedding, she really wanted it up in Sedona but couldn’t have it done there because everything in Sedona is just so expensive. So instead, they did the next best thing, they had Sedona portraits done! We started the portrait session at the parking area of Bell Rock and then walked towards Bell Rock. It was a very windy day but it made for beautiful shots of Erin’s flowy dress.
We love Sedona and how the red rocks make such a unique backdrop. Calling Sedona the most beautiful place on earth is not a stretch of the imagination. The vast scenery will steal your breath away. Plus, it’s a nice getaway from the horrible Phoenix heat!
