Gary + Caitlin | Scottsdale Arizona, Couples’ Portrait Photographer

Even through a pandemic, Gary and Caitlin married in September 2020. They thought it would be a fun experience to have an after-wedding couples’ portrait session to complement such a fantastic time in their lives. They mentioned having lots of pre-wedding and wedding photos, but due to the pandemic restrictions, they didn’t have many photos of them as a married couple. We couldn’t think of a better location for this couples’ session than Scottsdale Civic Center and Old Town Scottsdale.

The Scottsdale Civic Center is a location that is modern and spacious. With wide-open grass and art, it provides a very peaceful environment. Iconic to the Civic Center is Robert Indiana’s LOVE Sculpture. Being an internationally recognized art piece, it goes without saying that we had to incorporate it into their session!

In this couples’ portrait session, you can see Gary and Caitlin’s connection. Combined with this location, it let them be as natural as possible, and these moments show through! We ended their portrait session in and around Old Town Scottsdale. Being a historic town from the late 19th century, the architecture is a unique western style, complete with Arizona native plants, trees, and greenery.
