Crowne Plaza San Marcos Wedding | Mark + Emily

Mark and Emily had the most beautiful San Marcos wedding. When we met with them at their engagement session, Emily told us that she was going for bright and bold colors. She said think of a rainbow… that’s how bright it’s going to be. If you know our style, we LOVE color. So when she told us this, we were so excited we couldn’t wait for their big day.

Mark and Emily told us that they wanted their fur baby included in some wedding photos and little Charlie boy did not disappoint us. He arrived in his own tux and sunglasses! He was by far the cutest member of a bridal party that we’ve ever photographed! As you can see in the photos, he came prepared and camera ready.

This was our first San Marcos wedding and hopefully not our last. The Royal Crowne San Marcos did not have a single location that was bad for pictures. Every turn we took, we were in awe of the beauty around us. Add the fun colors that Mark and Emily had, and we were in heaven! We even ended their portrait sessions with fun colorful confetti that Emily bought!

The dress…

One thing that was near and dear to Emily’s heart was her wedding dress. She had her grandmother’s wedding dress modernized and it was so beautiful. Think of the movie “27 Dresses” where Tess cut parts of her mother’s dress and had different pieces here and there. Except with Emily’s dress, all of it belonged to her grandma’s dress. And to top it off to take it even more special, Emily’s mom wore that dress during her wedding day too!
