After shooting weddings, we love getting to capture proposals! Something about the surprise and the reactions gets us crying every time. We’ve known Justin since he was just a teenager and even shot his senior portraits. So when Justin contacted us stating he was planning on proposing to his girlfriend and needed ideas, we were ecstatic. After listening to our ideas, he knew that it would be in Flagstaff. This Flagstaff proposal was going to be so pretty. We planned to do it in October, which meant we would see all the leaves turning yellow.
On the day of this Flagstaff proposal, we got there and was seriously amazed. We were up in Aspen Corner and all the Aspen trees were full of bright yellow leaves. Justin’s mom planned the story for the proposal, intending to have family portraits done. And when Justin and Hannah arrived at the location, we informed them that his family was running late, so we decided to start with some couple’s portraits of them. Justin knelt down, bringing Hannah and us to tears!
