As we are getting ready for tomorrow’s birthday party shenanigans, we realized we never shared any of Addy’s 6th Encanto birthday party; it was officially a year ago! We can’t believe we haven’t even shared these photos on Instagram or even our own personal Facebook pages! Now we share this beautiful party here on our blog.
We had to have an Encanto-themed birthday party because Addy was obsessed with Mirabel last year. Linda from Worthy Occasions AZ made a beautiful backdrop that reminded us of Luisa’s bedroom; filled with different shades of pink and purple flowers. Of course, she even included the gold butterflies that represented the butterfly in Encanto. Where in the movie, symbolizes how Mirabel is the one who brings transformation and rebirth to the family.
Purple Elephant, the baker, filled the cake with buttercream flowers and added butterflies from the backdrop on top. Additionally, we made the cake topper which included Mirabel and her amazing casita to round out the theme!
This was such a fun party and we can’t wait for tomorrow’s theme. We are currently setting it up and it’s going to be crazy!
