Ben and Kaylin wanted to have a desert engagement session. Something different from what they typically see on a daily basis. Ben and Kaylin flew in from Minnesota to get some wedding planning done. While they were here, they were able to squeeze in some time to get their engagement pictures done with us.
It was actually kind of funny. During their engagement session, Suzanne was freezing cold and was even bundled in a jacket. While Ben and Kaylin we in spring/summer clothes and thought it was perfect weather. We can’t imagine how cold it must be over in Minnesota right now. They told us it get’s in the negatives and that is just WAY to cold for us.
The Apache Wash Trailhead is a perfect desert location if you are in the north valley. You get the big saguaros as tons of teddy bear chollas. It’s always fun to try to put an engagement ring on a teddy bear cholla. Somehow it’s easier to put the ring on than to take it off!
We can’t wait for Ben and Kaylin’s wedding in April at Blackstone Country Club! April can’t come soon enough.
