Every spring break we like to travel somewhere and this year we traveled to New York! Addy has never been to New York before so it was great getting to show her around all the iconic places. And if you know us, our travel adventures always include a photo session. This time around, we got to take Katherine and Corey’s Brooklyn Bridge engagement photos and it was a dream. We’ve been dying to shoot at this location for a while and so happy we were able to cross it off our bucket list.

This was such a fun session and it’s even better when they are related to one of our couples! We shot a destination wedding for Corey’s cousin in Arizona a few years ago. Going into this session, we kept an eye out for the possibility of rain. Of course it was supposed to rain on the only day we could have their Brooklyn Bridge engagement photos done. We started the session with a few grey clouds and some wind and it didn’t start to rain until the very end.

We met at the Brooklyn Bridge Park which had the most breathtaking views of the New York City skyline. For anyone that wants to see the big skyscrapers all together, this is the place to be! We had such an amazing time in this urban jungle and we can’t wait to come back to the city that never sleeps.
