Typically when we go on vacation, we like to have a session in a new location. We had a model call for our road trip to New Mexico but all our couples fell through. Going into this trip, it was going to be all fun and no business. That was until we walked out to the dunes and saw Cameron taking pictures of Alexandria! We found out that they just got engaged a couple of days ago and offered to take some White Sands engagement photos!

Cameron and Alexandra were taking a road trip from Houston to Las Vegas where Cameron popped the question at the Hoover Dam. The next day they drove out to New Mexico to check out the beautiful white sands. We were so happy that we got to surprise them with these White Sand engagement photos. We were even happier that we got to cross off the White Sands off our location bucket list!

By just looking at these pictures, you can see why this location is on our bucket list! The wave-like dunes of gypsum sand have engulfed 275 square miles of desert giving it an ethereal feel.
