Jeff and Ashley are from the Bay Area and when we scheduled their engagement session, they knew that they somehow wanted to incorporate the beauty of Arizona in them. So that was why we planned on having desert engagement photos.
Ashley and Jeff flew in for the day to get all their wedding prep done. That’s a meeting with the florist, seeing the venue, menu tasting, meeting with the planner, engagement shoot and then cake tasting at the airport!!! With their crazy schedule, we made it even crazier!
Jeff and Ashley scheduled their engagement session at the Desert Botanical Gardens but as we mapped it there, it popped up that it was closing early due to an event! Luckily we always arrive at a session early and let’s just say that Suzanne was terrified of Kevin’s driving on the way there. Kevin was swerving in and out of rush hour traffic and made it to the gardens before it closed. We ended up shooting half of their engagement session at the gardens and then half at Papago Park which seriously was a blessing because they fell in love with the second location and got the best of both worlds.
