Dewayne and Ashley just moved to Arizona in July during the pandemic from Washington. Dewayne actually went to high school with Kevin but their lives never really crossed paths until now. Ashley and Dewayne have been together for 11 years but in April they will be celebrating their 8 year wedding anniversary; so what better way to celebrate than to get away and have an Imperial Sand Dunes portrait session!

The never ending sand dunes made for the best backdrop. It gave this session an ethereal feel. As you can see from the pictures, it was super windy there but it just added to the session! Ashley’s dress was super flowy and the wind definitely gave it some extra movement. It is a known fact that it is hard to walk/run in sand, but we never knew how hard it is until this session. We had so many laughs from this session because we were all falling down left and right from trying to walk up and down the dunes.
