For their engagement session, Niki and Ryan had beautiful Imperial Sand Dunes pictures done with us. We planned to go back for their one year anniversary session but due to COVID, that never got to happen. Luckily for us, we were able to go this year for their two year anniversary pictures!
The Imperial Sand Dunes are located just at the border of California and Arizona so it was quite a drive for all of us. But the drive is definitely worth it! With sand and sky as far as the eye can see, the endless waves of windblown sand makes for breathtaking pictures.
We had so much fun for their Imperial Sand Dunes pictures. Niki just had knee surgery and was a champ walking up and down the dunes. She even got Ryan to run down the dunes for a shoot! Since this was their anniversary portrait session, we loved that Niki added her wedding jewelry to compliment her outfit! What a great way to include a little something special to your session.
